Refund & Cancellation
Policy

We value transparency and fairness in every project. Here's how cancellations and refunds are handled.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025 6 min read Fair & Transparent

At Shah InfoTech, we value transparency and fairness in every project. Since most of our work involves time, effort, and customized solutions, this policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.

01

Project-Based Work

Most of our services are tailored to individual client requirements. Once a project starts, resources, time, and planning are already invested.

Before Project Start

If you cancel before we begin work, you are eligible for a full refund of any advance payment.

After Project Has Started

  • Work completed portion is non-refundable
  • Unused portion may qualify for partial refund

We can share progress details for full transparency.

02

Milestone-Based Projects

For larger projects, we often work in milestones to keep things structured and transparent.

  • Payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable
  • Future or pending milestones can be cancelled without additional charges
This ensures fairness for both sides and keeps the process structured.
03

Change of Mind

If you decide to cancel due to a change of mind after work has started:

  • Refunds will be evaluated based on the stage of the project
  • Work already delivered or completed will not be refunded
04

Delays or Non-Response

If there is a delay due to lack of communication or required inputs from your side:

  • The project timeline may be adjusted accordingly
  • Refund requests in such cases may not be applicable
We rely on timely collaboration to deliver the best results.
05

Service-Based or Ongoing Work

For ongoing services:

  • You can cancel anytime before the next billing cycle
  • No refunds for the current active period once work has started
06

Work Approval & Feedback

Clients are expected to review and provide feedback during the project lifecycle.

  • Once a phase or milestone is approved, it is considered final
  • Revisions beyond agreed scope may require additional cost
  • Approved work will not be eligible for refunds
07

Third-Party Costs

The following third-party costs are non-refundable as they are handled by external providers:

Domain Registration
Hosting Services
Plugins & Tools
APIs & Integrations
08

Project Completion

Once the project is completed and delivered:

  • No refunds will be issued
  • Minor adjustments may be provided based on prior agreement
Completion is defined as delivery of all agreed features and functionality.
09

Cancellation by Shah InfoTech

In rare cases, Shah InfoTech reserves the right to cancel a project due to:

  • Unforeseen technical limitations
  • Lack of communication or cooperation
  • Any situation preventing smooth execution
In such cases, a fair refund will be processed based on work completed.
